The blade, made of stainless 440 steel, bears the engraving C. JUL. HERBERTZ – ROSTFREI 440 – 203312 as well as the classic Herbertz MESSER- Logo. The 440 high-performance steel used is characterized by a hardness of approximately 56 to 59 HRC and excellent edge retention. The slightly curved shape of the blade, along with the sturdy back lock mechanism, ensures safe handling and durability in use.
The handle is made of gray-tinted pakkawood, ergonomically shaped with finger grooves, set in nickel silver bolsters on brass liners—a characteristic Herbertz construction that combines solidity with a pleasant feel.
