The classic LAMY 27e fountain pen was manufactured in Heidelberg and is made of black plastic with gold-plated decorative elements. The barrel features a clearly visible engraving “LAMY 27,” while the end cap bears the designation “27e” along with the addition “MK,” likely an internal production or mechanism code. The nib is made of 14K gold and engraved with “585.”
The 27e model was produced between approximately 1952 and 1965 and represents LAMY’s simple, functional post-war aesthetic. Equipped with a piston mechanism, which has been tested and is fully functional, it exemplifies the combination of high-quality materials and practical usability.
The length is approximately 13 cm. The original packaging is not preserved.
The condition is good: minor signs of use are visible, the engravings are fully legible, and the mechanism is fully functional, with no visible damage or breaks.
The LAMY 27e model is considered a characteristic example of early post-war production and holds both museum and collector value.
