The rectangular inlaid box is made of walnut burl wood, whose distinctive grain and warm brown tone enhance its decorative appeal.
The lid features a central inlay with floral and geometric motifs. In the center, the inscription “Karlsbad” is inlaid. The design is complemented by stone inlays, likely made of semi-precious stones or glass, as well as silver-colored decorative edges along the frame.
On the front, there is a brass latch serving as a closure. The interior is smoothly finished and empty.
The condition is very good: the inlays are complete and retain strong contrast, and the inscription is clearly legible. Only minimal signs of use are visible.
