This mechanical pocket watch with a Roman numeral dial was produced between approximately 1930 and 1950 in anonymous serial manufacturing. The case is made of plain metal and bears the stamp “METAL” on the inner cover. Both back covers feature the engraving “6356” and the number “5,” presumably as internal production markings.
The movement is hand-wound and follows a classic bridge construction. The white dial features Roman numerals and a small seconds subdial at six o’clock. Of the hands, only the minute hand remains, while the hour and second hands are missing; the piece is therefore considered in need of restoration. The case, made of non-precious metal, is engraved with a floral pattern and features a bird motif. The diameter is approximately 50 millimeters, and the weight is around 64 grams. The serial number 6356 is stamped on both sides.
In its historical context, the watch represents the functional yet decorative watchmaking of the 1930s to 1950s.
